About RRM

 

Established by Paul Coffey in 1996, RRM provides Project Management Services and Practical & Sustainable Solutions for Recycling, Organic Waste Reuse and Materials Management.

RRM is dedicated to resource recovery and recycling with an emphasis on organic waste recycling in an environmentally sustainable manner, providing consultancy and management services to organic waste generators and processors for both solids and liquid streams.

Services offered to Government and Industry include management, processing, marketing and reuse of biosolids, garden organics and food organics; land application and site management. Other services include materials handling review; licensing and approval applications; technical support for environmental impact studies; and commercial and technical support for tender documentation and submissions.

  Major achievements include:

Engaged by Water Authorities and Local Governments in NSW and QLD to manage the reuse of dewatered cake biosolids in mine rehabilitation and agriculture

Engaged to manage the design and construction of a 55,000 tonnes per year organic waste and biosolid composting facility at Coffs Harbour

bullet

Engaged by Inghams to manage the Central Coast BiobiN service for the composting and disposal of poultry mortalities

bullet

Engaged by Gosford City Council to remove and reuse 25,000 tonnes of biosolids in mine rehabilitation and agriculture

bullet

Engaged as the Commissioning Manager for portions A & B of the Enersludge project in Subiaco, Perth, WA. In addition RRM was also engaged to carry out a design review of the sludge, grit and screenings handling systems for the project at the Subiaco Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

Engaged by Sydney Water to prepare a 25-year Biosolids and Residuals Management Strategy for all STPs

bullet

Engaged as Construction Manager and Commissioning Manager by Andritz AG (Austria) to build and commission a drying plant

bullet

Engaged by Brisbane Water to carry out an evaluation of drying biosolids at Luggage Point Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP)

RRM has an extensive national and international network of professional, academic and industry colleagues involved in organic waste recovery, processing and R&D. This helps maintain a clear picture of national and international trends in processing and marketing of organic products.
